Ping-pong tables invade London

Post by BEcause XM

With the countdown to the London 2012 Olympics firmly underway, we’ve noticed how experiential is being increasingly used to get all kinds of people passionate about sport.  This month, 100 ping-pong tables are being placed around London in places such as Westfield Shopping Centre and Tate Britain, as part of an experiential campaign named ‘Ping!’, that aims to get one million people playing the sport by 2012.  As well as free play, each ping-pong table will feature a programme of master classes, competitions and free-to-join activities. Let’s hope that Londoners embrace this fantastic opportunity – if the project is successful it will be rolled out across four more cities.
