We have the likes of John Moston and Barry Davies; Israel’s voice of sport is Zoheir Bahalool. Huggies enlisted Bahalool for a unique online campaign that encouraged parents to submit a video of their children’s antics. Bahalool then provided a running commentary in his well-known style and the video was sent back to parents. There are some lovely examples on this video and we expect this campaign resonated well with parents – catching a glimpse of the superstar within.

Wine brand Blossom Hill is staging a series of experiential events at this year’s Wimbledon Championships designed to boost the brand’s appeal amongst tennis fans. As well as on-site sampling zones, branded rickshaws will transport spectators from local train and tube stations to the Championships. In addition, branded interactive video games including pink table tennis, will be used to entertain queuing fans.

Fragrance manufacturer Coty is sending squads of adidas Brand Ambassadors into the crowds at this month’s Flora London Marathon to promote the sports brand’s Action 3 antiperspirant deodorant. Dressed in classic adidas apparel, the squads will distribute samples from a branded stock vehicle. For the three days leading up to marathon day, teams will be distributing Adidas Action 3 samples from giant product replicas at the official pre-Marathon exhibition in London’s Expo.

Sony Ericsson used tennis stars Andy Murray and Venus Williams to stop traffic in Miami last month as part of an experiential stunt to promote the brand’s sponsorship of the Miami Open. The pair drew large crowds as they played an impromptu game of car-roof tennis on Miami’s busy Ocean Drive.

Sportswear giant adidas is working with BEcause to drive sales of its footwear and running apparel at its Oxford Street flagship store in the lead up to Flora London Marathon on 26th April.
Over 30,000 London-based competitors have been invited to visit the store to register for a place on adidas sponsored pre-marathon training runs and Q&A sessions. To drive sales, runners will be offered Gait analysis to identify the most suitable running shoe from the adidas range. In addition, competitors who buy an official adidas Flora London Marathon t-shirt can have their name printed on it for free at the store.
