The Paris edition of the daily newspaper “Metro” created a giant paper boat to announce the arrival of a new, slicker format. When folded and tucked in all the right places the boat was then marched down to the banks of the Seine where it was launched and, thankfully, floated. We can just imagine the headlines if the boat hadn’t been sea-worthy!

We love this interactive art, which is currently on display in Paris. A façade of a building, complete with internal lights and weathered brickwork lies flat on the ground. A giant mirror looms above and when people interact with the building on the ground the reflection makes it look like they are hanging off the window ledges. It is a fantastic illusion and was created to encourage audience participation and foster a sense of community. Photos of seemingly daring poses posted online has meant that interest in this installation has spread far and wide. We expect to see much more coverage appear as the installation will remain in place until the beginning of March.
