A Toronto based Porsche dealership recently ran this (very) direct mail campaign that spoke to affluent prospects on a personal level. A team from the dealership parked a new, white Porsche 911 outside houses in a wealthy neighbourhood. They took a photo at each house and created a personalised postcard ad that featured the image of the car on the drive and posted it through the letter-boxes. Seeing a Porsche parked on their drive saw 32% of targets access the test drive website.
