TK Maxx Staff were surprised this week when they were intercepted by paparazzi style photographers, red carpets and catwalk treatment as they entered their offices across the UK.
As part of the new integrated campaign run by BEcause TK Maxx staff had their photo taken to try and create “the face of the feeling” that customers have when they find the perfect item instore. The pictures were then posted onto social boards and also to the new social media site Face of The Feeling. Staff were encouraged to sign up for the Face of the Feeling competition, with the winner being selected from a panel of judges in December to star in the TK Maxx spring campaign and win £1000. Juding by the photos it seems the celebrity lifestyle came naturally to some staff!

Kallo Foods has hired brand experience specialist BEcause to stage an experiential sampling campaign to drive sales of its So Good Soya Milk.
A highly branded sampling rig will be placed at the entrances of selected Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrison’s stores for six weeks from the end of September. Here, trained BEcause Brand Ambassadors will encourage shoppers to try the new ‘Best Taste Ever’ product and take part in the ‘So Good Swirl’ challenge – a hula hooping game on the Nintendo Wii.
To encourage purchase, triallists will be given money off vouchers to redeem against future purchases and the chance of winning Nintendo Wii Fit.
So Good Soya Milk is made from non-genetically modified soya and contains 20% more calcium than semi skimmed cow’s milk, it also actively reduces cholesterol. Kallo acquired the So Good brand and business in Europe in July 2008. So Good is the second largest brand in the UK’s dairy-alternatives market offering a range of ambient and chilled soy based beverages.

IKEA is building 11 ‘activation zones’ at train stations and shopping centres throughout the UK this September as part of a campaign to launch its 2010 catalogue. The experiential zones will include giant versions of IKEA’s iconic pieces of furniture, ad screens showing the latest products and free copies of the 2010 catalogue. A promotional bus tour will support the launch.

The NHS is touring the Midlands this month with a mobile exhibition unit to support its latest anti-smoking ‘Fight Back’ ad campaign. Inside the unit, carrying the ad straplines ‘Smoking GBH to your insides’ and ‘When you smoke, it’s your insides that get beaten up’, visitors will be encourage to test their carbon monoxide levels and find out their lung age. Brand Ambassadors will be on hand distributing leaflets and helpline information.
