London leisure taps into Olympic spirit

London-based shopping centre Cardinal Place is staging a series of experiential mini-festivals to encourage local residents and tourists to visit the centre during summer evenings and weekends. First up is the Wii Olympics where wannabe Olympians can compete in boxing, swimming and athletics tournaments in one of three specially-designed Nintendo Wii pods. Later in the summer, the centre will stage mini versions of Royal Ascot, The Chelsea Flower Show and the Notting Hill Carnival.
