The Biggest round ’08

TBR08NZLook out for ‘The Biggest Round ’08′ at a pub or supermarket near you from this month.  It’s the fourth year running that we’ve run the multi-brand consumer trial initiative for S&N UK.  This year, for the first time, the campaign will focus exclusively on S&N’s cider portfolio. Our  Brand Ambassadors will be visiting over 3,000 pubs and 1,700 supermarkets, encouraging consumers to “enjoy something different” with the offer of one drink “on the house” from a choice of seven S&N cider brands.

This year we’ll also be staging themed nights in hundreds of venues, with either a female “Our Treat” pampering theme or a male-oriented Las Vegas “Big Deal” night out theme, depending on the outlet’s regular customer profile.

Get ready to Crunk!!!

CRUNK!!! Energy Drink toured local music scenes and college campuses throughout Los Angeles recently in a ‘Crunkamino’ – a customised 1967 El Camino SS with a cooler bed full of CRUNK!!! – as part of a campaign to launch the drink in Southern California. Street teams of Brand Ambassadors accompanied by rapper Lil’ Jon introduced consumers to the drink and distributed free samples.

Cheese brand Grand Padano created a live brand experience for visitors to The Real Food Festival last month. To inspire people to cook using Grand Padano, an expert chef prepared tasty recipes using the cheese whilst Brand Ambassadors distributed recipe booklets. A Terrazzo – “a welcoming garden area” was created where visitors to the stand could relax and enter a competition to win a luxury hamper from Harvey Nichols.

Food brand Dr Oetker is embarking on an eight-week roadshow to launch its Paula range of children’s desserts. A branded Paula-mobile, complete with oversized cow features and accompanied by a costume character Paula, will tour supermarkets nationwide entertaining kids and offering free samples. Children can also win a Paula balloon by spotting hidden wobblers in-store. In addition to the roadshow, ‘Paula’s World’ – a family-friendly activity area – will be opening at Legoland, Windsor for six weeks this summer.

To celebrate its collaboration with three new artists, Google staged a three-day experiential stunt in New York’s meatpacking district this month. Colourful moving images were projected onto facades of several buildings in busy parts of the district. Passers-by were encouraged to play around with the images on computer stations in a nearby lounge area, complete with white furniture, Google-branded cushions and a clear roof that allowed visitors to view the projections in the rain.
