Cosmetics manufacturer Beiersdorf UK is promoting the effectiveness of its new Nivea Double Effect deodorant through an interactive dance show tour of shopping centres throughout the UK. For a nine week period, professional dancers will demonstrate different dance styles and encourage women to participate and perform alongside them. Brand Ambassadors will tour with the dancers to give out free samples and communicate the deodorant’s key values and benefits.

Chewing gum brand Trident is installing huge cube-shaped sculptures in shopping centres and train stations this summer in an experiential campaign to bring to life the physical sensations of chewing Trident Splash and Trident Soft gum. For Trident Splash, the cubes will be covered in a special type of vinyl that displays animated effects in response to passers-by. The installation for Trident Soft will use a stretchy material that will be manipulated by dancers inside the cube.

Legendary tinned meat brand SPAM is launching a 21-week roadshow to introduce consumers to its new SPAM Fritters. A highly-branded SPAM sampling trailer will visit supermarkets across the UK. Brand Ambassadors will be on hand distributing money-off coupons and encouraging consumers to trial hot sample-sized SPAM Fritters. To add to the theatre, a demonstration chef will talk through the preparation of samples and offer consumers serving suggestions.

Nintendo is unleashing four-person ‘street teams’ into 10 Six Flags theme parks across the USA this summer. The teams will be interacting with guests and allowing them to sample the portable Nintendo DS video game in high footfall areas of the parks and whilst queuing for rides.

Computer games developer Ubisoft is to run an experiential campaign to promote its new series of games at several UK festivals this summer. A large sampling platform made up of a seven-metre trailer containing state-of-the-art computer screens will allow festival-goers to trial a selection of new games on a variety of consoles. Visitors to the bright and airy trailer will be able to relax on picnic seating under parasols, win prizes, collect merchandise and learn about new releases.
