Drinks brand Pepsi is letting loose a 60-ft inflatable ‘Gift Monster’ onto the streets of New York this month to promote its ‘Pepsi Stuff Giveaway’ – a promotion where consumers can trade collected ‘Pepsi Stuff Points’ for MP3 music downloads. The monster will make its way through the city, making a dozen stops on the way to its final destination, Times Square. At each stop Pepsi Brand Ambassadors will give away Pepsi Stuff points and branded merchandise.

Pucker up for Hendricks Gin

Hendrick’s Gin is taking a romantic approach to marketing this February with its touring ‘Hendrick’s Kissing Booth’ – an experiential Victorian photo booth positioned in Selfridges stores nationwide. Consumers are invited to sample Hendrick’s Gin and have their picture taken, with their loved one, in the sumptuous red kissing booth complete with cupids, hearts and flowers. Within minutes the couples receive a black and white picture mounted in a Valentines Day card. Consumers who go on to purchase Hendrick’s will receive a complimentary red rose.

Sky One is promoting the fourth series of its TV show Lost with the creation of an exclusive Bluetooth zone in London’s Victoria station. Visitors to the dedicated area, themed ‘The answers are coming’, can download exclusive programme content, interviews with the cast, wallpapers, ringtones and message alerts.

Tommy Hilfiger Denim

Tommy Hilfiger denim is inviting consumers at its retail store in Dublin to join the ‘Hilfiger Hall of Fame’ by adding their picture to an interactive wall outside the store. Consumers can then return to the store and have a personalised t-shirt specially printed using the image they created as the design. A selection of images will also be projected onto high profile buildings within the city.

Royal Bank of Scotland is back on the road this month with its annual ‘Kick for an RBS 6 Nations Ticket’ roadshow. Touring major cities throughout the UK, the roadshow challenges rugby fans to kick a ball between inflatable rugby posts to win a range of rugby-related prizes including tickets and travel packages to away matches. Rugby stars and celebrities will be on-hand to help and have a go themselves.
